Chiang Mai PCD Visits and Supports Entrepreneurs at the “Commerce Market @ Chiang Mai” Event

On November 13, 2024, at 10:00 AM, Mrs. Nichaphalat Wannakham, Chiang Mai Provincial Development Officer, along with Mrs. Ladda Phrommuang, Director of the Community Development Promotion Group; Mrs. Natthayan Pothima, Director of the Coordination and Community Development Management Support Group; and Ms. Amporn Chaiyo, Director of the Community Development Information Group, visited the event to support entrepreneurs. They also provided guidance on product quality, standards, and marketing strategies to help businesses expand into global markets.

The event featured over 35 entrepreneurs showcasing a variety of products, including agricultural goods, processed agricultural products, clothing, accessories, and various community-based products. The event took place at the Pracharath Market – Smiling Thai People, located in front of Chiang Mai Provincial Hall, Chang Phueak Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai Province.

Organized by the Chiang Mai Provincial Commerce Office, in collaboration with the Chiang Mai Provincial Community Development Office, the “Commerce Market @ Chiang Mai” event was held from November 12-14, 2024. It aimed to support local farmers and entrepreneurs by expanding market opportunities as part of an economic recovery initiative. The project focuses on reducing expenses, increasing income, and expanding business opportunities for farmers and local communities, while also stimulating the economy within Chiang Mai Province.
